This is the best video on the Internet. I just started rewatching the series from the first episode & by episode 3 I thought I'd get a glimpse of these disabled beauties. It was quite literally the PERFECT episode to introduce since they were looking for a "grapist" who attacked smart single women WITH CATS. But no, missed opportunity for real. So THANK YOU for what I consider a real piece of cinematic pleasure & excellence. If I could like this video a million times, I would.

I love how Kate actually got back at her attacker in the shower. She says she wants a shot at facing this opponent and when she takes him down, she tells him not to ever touch her again. I truly loved Cold Case for showing women and girls with strength.

I just rewatched this episode. After Lily is pulled out of the water and an EMT is checking her on the stretcher, Lily turns her head and she sees Kate Butler walking by. She looks at Lily like who killed me was caught. If you are not looking for it, you will miss it. Not the first time I have seen this but first time noticing this. Sort of like a ghost appears twice cause at the end Kate appears before her father and salutes.

"I was a lousy father" being said, while her strongest father figure shows up beside her, like he always did, ever since she was a kid. Even before these 2 episodes showing their backstories, you could see how much John truly cared about Lily, even more than the rest of the team. He was shot in Stalker and is still being treated and in pain, but once he sees her leaving wounded, he wants to get up and go after her. During s5 he keeps on nagging her to complete his therapy sessions, and while at first it seems like he's angry about her somehow being careless or even punishing her, he confesses "it shouldn't have been you. Not you." Idk man, their relationship is damn awesome. I love this show and I love this team. So many good pairings with interesting stories and perspective. Lily and Scotty, the perfect duo who balance one another; Lily and John, she's the daughter that treasures him more than his own, and he's the father that she didn't have; Scotty, Will and Nick, the trio that are always there for one another with a beer to either celebrate or support; Nick and Kat, the comedic opposites; Kat and Will, who understand e/o more than anyone else; Lily and Kat, the duo of female detectives and fighters who never put their heads down to anyone; and finally John and Will, the senior duo who are always so open minded, sometimes even more than the younger detectives. Great show, episodes, crew and production. I wish it wasn't cancelled.

I used to watch this show when i was a teenager. Now I’m 31 and I became Lilly. The scenes where she’s thinking while petting her cats it’s me 😅

This definitely is my favorite episode.. True love, poetry, loyalty.. But, I cried my eyes out. ❤❤✨🤍 till the end

Omg!!! Just watched this episode for the first time. I guess back when episodes aired I only watched to season 5 or so. I feel so emotionally destroyed! 😭😭 I had so many jump scares! and have to rewatch to fully understand. No show has ever affected me this much. It’s so powerful!

Found this while searching Elisa Lam. The death is eerily similar in the sense she was found floating in water and that she had a mental disorder.. let's not forget the name..

They should bring back this awesome series, at least as a 10-episode miniseries or a movie... It could've had at least 15 seasons, the chemistry between the actors was undeniable and touched the audience hearts!!!!

I was watching this episode earlier today and fell asleep when they explain WHO KILLED THE DISC JOCKEY? Was the fan stalking him really his daughter? I LOVE how they intertwine stories about the detectives and their families to add depth to the characters and the story lines. LOVE THIS SHOW although they do introduce WOKE BS at times. GREAT SHOW too bad TV like this has been lost forever for young kiddies today!

Where can I find season 8?

I have been listening to this song for more than a half-century but only when I saw this episode did I realize what a beautiful piece of music The Backstabbers really is! I'm no musician, but I hear the music far differently than I used to because of this episode.
